In February 2009, over 100 fans, alongside PRS, flocked to Point Pleasant, WV in hopes of catching a glimpse of the Mothman. Attendees got to tour the town, meet several locals who had experiences, visit the TNT area, conduct a ghost hunt at a local haunt and more! Special guests included Chip Coffey, Chad Calek, Jeff Wamsley (Mothman Museum owner) and John Frick (Mothman investigator).

WHAT:
Join PRS as they return to Point Pleasant in search of answers to the Mystery behind the legendary Mothman. Meet the cast of “Paranormal State,” experience amazing lectures and discussions, go on an exclusive ghost hunt with the cast and learn about the history of the quiet little town that was home to dozens of sightings and strange occurances.
WORKSHOPS: Learn about the history of the Mothman, Point Pleasant and the Silver Bridge Collapse. Hear the tales from local townsfolk and what really happened.
SOCIALIZE: Mingle with the cast and crew of PRS and other attendees during a couple of the socializing opportunities. Get your photos taken with the cast and crew at the infamous Mothman Statue. Did you know it has a six pack?
MINI INVESTIGATIONS & TOURS: Take a tour of Point Pleasant on a guided tour around the town and even venture into the TNT area that was featured on the show. Join the cast of “Paranormal State” at the TNT area for a mini investigation and another attempt to make contact.
EDUCATE YOURSELF- Visit the town during downtime and learn about the history of the town, meet with townsfolk, and even shop at the Mothman Museum, the only Mothman Museum in the world!
THE F.T. GOAL:
Every field trip, PRS donates a piece of the profits towards a goal – something the entire Field Trip gang can feel proud that they’ve contributed to. This year, Field Trippers will get to vote on what the goal will be! For this Field Trip, FT’s will be able to vote on two projects – one personal and another public.
PERSONAL: Examples include, a Field Trip mug, t-shirt or other souvenier.
PUBLIC: Donation to a charity, public service or non-profit paranormal group.
