We will be staying at the Wyndham Gettysburg for our field trip to Gettysburg. Please be aware that your ticket price does NOT include your hotel rooms.
Reserving Your Room: PRS will be receiving a discounted rate for our attendees, which will be $114 per night. The rooms are blocked for guests, but they must call to make their reservations. Attendees must call the reservations number, 1-866-845-8885, and ask for the room block for “PRS Field Trip.”
Reservation Block: Reservations must be received on or before 5:00pm on Monday, March 1, 2010. Rooms that are not reserved at that point will be released out of the block and attendees will no longer be guaranteed a room or the Paranormal Research Society rate at this point.
Cancellation Policy: All individual cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the date of arrival. Failure to do so will result in charging the credit card for one night’s room and tax.
Wyndham Gettysburg to Farnsworth House
Address: 401 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325
Length of driving: 3.1 miles, about 7 minutes without traffic
Leave the Gettysburg hotel, and turn left onto US-30 West/York Street (2.4 miles), at the traffic circle, take the third exit onto Baltimore Street (0.4 miles), turn right at South Street (180 feet), take the first left onto Court Alley and the destination will be on the right. Parking is located behind the Farnsworth House.
Wyndham Gettysburg to Tillie Pierce House
Address: 303 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325
Length of driving: 3 miles, about 6 minutes without traffic
Leave the Gettysburg hotel and turn left onto US-30 West/York Street (2.4 miles), at the traffic circle, take the third exit onto Baltimore Street (0.3 miles) and the destination will be on the right. There is a very small amount of parking behind the house, so we suggest that you find a parking spot on the street.
Wyndham Gettysburg to Battlefield Bed and Breakfast
Address: 2264 Emmitsburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325
Length of driving: 7 miles, about 13 minutes without traffic
Leave the Gettysburg hotel and turn left onto US-30 West/York Street (2.4 miles), at the traffic circle, take the third exit onto Baltimore (0.5 miles), make a slight right at Steinwehr Ave/US-15 Business South and continue to follow US-15 Business South (3.8 miles) and the destination will be on the left. There will be parking available in the grass in front of the bed and breakfast for about 30 cars at a time.
Wyndham Gettysburg to Battlefield Tour @ Devil’s Den
Address: Sykes Ave., Crawford Rd., Warren Ave.
Length of driving: 5.7 miles, about 12 minutes without traffic
Leave the Gettysburg hotel and turn left onto US-30 West/York Street (2.4 miles), at the traffic circle, take the third exit onto Baltimore (0.5 miles), make a slight right at Steinwehr Ave (0.2 miles), then a slight left onto South Washington Street (381 feet). Continue onto PA-134 South/Taneytown Road (1.9 miles), and then turn right at Wheatfield Road (0.2 miles). Take the first left onto Sykes Avenue (0.2 miles). Please park in one of the several gravel lots at on Sykes Avenue, Crawford Road, or Warren Avenue. We will be meeting our tour guides at Devil’s Den.
