PRS Field Trips is pleased to announce that Field Trip #8 will take place June 6 – 8th, 2010 at the Hotel Conneaut, as seen on the “Paranormal State” season four episode, “Dead Legends.” During PRS’ initial three-day stay, the crew slept in the hotel and investigated the alleged hotspots for paranormal activity. According to the hotel, the hotel is haunted by three tragic spirits – a bride who was burned alive, a little boy who fell to his death, and a butcher who was stabbed. PRS considers Hotel Conneaut to be an extremely active spot for paranormal activity. And now, PRS will return to Hotel Conneaut with a troop of Field Trippers to help uncover additional secrets.
Sleep at the hotel. Field Trippers will be able to check in to the hotel and stay there over the entire Field Trip period, therefore allowing oneself to be open to experiencing the hotel’s wide variety of claims 24/7.
Attend the amusement park. Do some group-bonding exercises and just have fun at the amusement park that is on-site. Yes, there is an amusement park that runs around the Hotel Conneaut property! (Amusement park will only be open on the first day of the trip – Sunday).
Bonfire Discussions. Sit with Ryan and Eilfie from PRS as they have a discussion with a small, select group of people. Other guest speakers will also hold bonfire discussions.
Thought-Form Experiment. Attend lectures and hands-on workshops regarding the thought-form phenomena (as discussed on the episode). Can people really create a ghost? Guest-experts on thought-forms will hold thought-provoking lectures. Some Field Trippers will also get to participate in a three-day thought-form experiment.
Haunted Boat Ride. Go on a haunted boat ride and hear the legends of Hotel Conneaut and Conneaut Lake in detail prior to your ghost hunt.
Ghost hunt. Field Trippers will get to investigate some of the most haunted spots of the sprawling mansion.
Much more. As always, there are a ton of exciting guests and events that are added when the full itinerary goes up. For those who’ve attended an event before, this will be completely different from all the others. For newcomers, there’s no better time to hop on and experience a PRS Field Trip for yourself!
Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, February 10th at 3pm EST.

when you say dead time how do you hope to keep the session free of outside noise, and is the investigation going to take place in/and around the hotel or just in your own hotel room……..and megan if your are one of the Conneaut lake park/hotel volunteers i tried to forward you the site info for tickets give me a call if your still lost

Do you ever plan anything on the west coast? You have a ton of fans on this side of the country. What about setting up affiliate societies around the country to do prep work on cases you might be interested in exploring?

@Tia and Rachel– Nah, field trippers don’t bite:-) My friend and I are planning on going and we’ll hang out with you too! I went to the field trip at the Stanley Hotel in Co. and it was really fun! I’m sure this one is going to be, too.

I really wanted to attend this but I live in Wisconsin and feel as if it would be an extremely long drive! 7 or 8 hours probably, if not more. Anyway I really hope at least one future field trip will be held near Wisconsin or in Illinois. I think it would be awesome to attend one. I also think I would have a problem finding someone to come with me as most of my friends are not as interested in the paranormal as I am and dont want to spend the money to go. SO if there is anyone from WI or IL that would want to go to an upcoming trip together lemme know!
