So, does this mean we’re staying in the Thomas House hotel or are we supposed to book lodgings elsewhere? Thanks for posting more information! :)

I made it alright to the ticket site but I didn’t actually try to buy them yet–I need more hotel information before I purchase! :D

Jodi,

Reading over the info they posted, it would appear that we must book lodgings elsewhere. If you go to the websites listed on the hotels you can get rate info, etc. Looks like I’ll be booking a room at the Donoho because it is literally next door to the Thomas House. Rates are very reasonable, but they want a 50% deposit to hold a reservation.

This shouldn’t be a problem, however. I spent more on one night at the Island Hotel in Cedar Key, Florida in order to do an investigation there than I will for two nights at The Donoho. And meals weren’t even included then, not to mention all the great workshops and lectures scheduled for the Thomas House! It was a heck of an active night in Cedar Key though, so I feel my team got their money’s worth just the same.

Hope to see you there!

I’ve secured the last room available at the Donoho.

While speaking to Pam, the manager, I learned that interest for this event has been phenomenal! It looks like there will be an excellent turn-out.

My team is conducting their equipment checks and clearing their calendars. Some of them will be traveling from several points in Florida, as that is where two of our Chapters are located. We are all eagerly awaiting our trip!

Due to unforseen circumstance, I will not be able to attend this event. Though I am highly disappointed it cannot be avoided.

Therefore, the last room at the Donoho is now up for grabs. Just thought I’d let everyone know.

Happy hunting everyone!

Has anyone heard about sign ups for the workshops? Only a few more weeks! Looking forward to meeting some new faces and sharing our experience at Thomas House in June!
